Real Districts. Real Coverage.

Two semesters, two very different districts — same result: no student or family left without a language they understood.

VRI sessions in one spring semester

Spring Semester 2026 (Apr–Jun 2026) · VRI + OPI

Delivered across 4 languages — Spanish, Portuguese, Georgian, and Uzbek. Georgian and Uzbek are nearly impossible to source locally on an island; Fox filled that gap remotely.

The Challenge

No structured, on-demand interpreter solution existed before Fox. Communication with non-English-speaking families relied on informal arrangements — inconsistent, slow to coordinate, and raising confidentiality concerns. With a small administrative team and limited budget, the district needed a flexible solution it could activate quickly, without adding headcount or committing to rigid volume contracts.

The Solution

Fox provided on-demand VRI for scheduled meetings and OPI for real-time family communications. Two district contacts managed all requests through a streamlined same-day or next-day scheduling workflow.

The Results

  • 51+ billable hours across 43 sessions in approximately 10 weeks
  • Sessions averaged over an hour each — substantive meetings, not quick calls
  • Zero reported service failures or last-minute coverage gaps

Completed VRI sessions in one fall semester

Fall Semester 2025 (Aug–Dec 2025) · District-wide VRI

66 campuses, 22 languages — 68% special education, 32% general district services. Zero language gaps, including rare languages like Swahili, Khmer, and Albanian.

The Challenge

One of the fastest-growing districts in Texas for several consecutive years, with more than 20 languages spoken at home across the student population. SPED and general services teams struggled to coordinate qualified interpreters for IEP meetings, ARD hearings, and enrollment sessions across 66 campuses — no single local interpreter could cover that breadth of need.

The Solution

Fox built a centralized ticketing workflow with clear lead times, matching SPED-specific interpreters to IEP and ARD meetings and general interpreters to enrollment, counseling, and family communication — including same-day urgent requests.

The Results

  • 359 completed sessions (plus 34 canceled at no charge) — about 5.4 sessions per campus
  • 68% Special Education (IEP, ARD, evaluations), supporting IDEA and Title III compliance; 32% general district services
  • Zero language gaps reported, including same-day urgent requests
